In 1901 Andrew Carnegie, J.P. Morgan and Charles Schwab, led by Elbert H. Gary, U. S. Steel's first chairman. Created what was once the largest steel company. Now that giant will no longer exist. Nipon Steel has offered 14.9 billion for this once great American Icon.
. I was hoping that an American company like Cleveland Cliffs would have bought it. But their bid was 6 billion less. It still needs approval from U.S. Steel shareholders. Also being that this isn’t the Chinese buying it, the Biden administration may try to stop it
I have to say that this does scare me.
