Some loons out there are claiming precedent. Well as they say rules are made to be broken, precedent was never set in stone. Abortion was not in the Constitution and was never passed in Congress.
The US Supreme Court is hearing arguments on a law that could lead to the overturning of Roe v. Wade, the 1973 ruling that gave women the right to terminate a pregnancy. Historically, the US Supreme Court rarely overturns decisions. In fact, in its 232-year history, it has done so 233 times.
Bad laws and court rulings get reviewed all the time. If need be abortion laws can be different in all fifty states. So let’s see if abortion is passed as a federal law, state law, or banned all together.
Most things that the federal government has declared themselves the emperor over should be up to individual states. The federal government has inserted itself into almost everything in our lives. They have created laws, policies, procedures, and regulate 98% of every dang thing!!
