Where was the Virginia Governor and U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg during this snow emergency?
So we have this massive snow fall that hit south of DC and nothing from the sitting Virginia governor and U.S. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. I-95 and its West Coast counterpart Interstate 5 are probably the two most important longitudinal highways in the country. And some were quick to blame the Governor elect who comes into office January 15th.
The current governor did not respond till the following morning with a tweet. And Mr. Pete? Seems as if he couldn’t be bothered. We had a US Senator who was stuck in this mess for 27 hours. So sad.
